We Happy Few is the story of a small group of brave and moderately terrible people trying to escape from a life of joyful denial in Wellington Wells. In this alternate England of the 1960s, conformity is at the heart of everything. You must fight or merge with drugged residents, most of whom are unkind to people who do not obey their not quite normal rules.

Uncover the dark history of a retrofuturistic city as you play out the intertwining stories of three quiet rebels from Wellington Wells. Each brings out their strengths and weaknesses by looking to their past, preparing for the future, and engaging in activities that disrupt the artificially enthusiastic society.

1960s England, dystopia
Set in a drug-fueled, retro-futuristic, alternative 1960s England city, We Happy Few is a story-driven action game that lets you hide, fight, and obey to escape the delusional, drug-crazed Joy world.

Three intertwined stories
Play as three heroes, each with their own flaws exploring their own connections to the events surrounding the rebuilding of Wellington Wells. Each of them has their own unique storyline, in which they interpret the surrounding events and react to them in their own way. As you hide, obey, and fight for each of them, you´ll encounter dark humor, a glimmer of hope, and even redemption along the way.

Your own dystopia
We Happy Few cannot be played the same way twice. While the citizens of Wellington Wells always want you to take your dose of Joy, the normatively crafted world ensures that the We Happy Few experience is different and unique.

Custom game
In addition to the normatively created world, there are many ways to personalize your We Happy Few experience:
• choose the level of difficulty, designed for beginners or experienced players
• go through the story of the game or create an individual experimental world according to your preferences
• try the single life mode if you want to satisfy all your masochistic needs
• Collect recipes, scrap and craft dozens of weapons, tools and gadgets
• crawl, punch or submit on your way through puzzles and collisions
• fight with "bare hands" or crazy weapons you have created

Activation

1. You need to download and install Steam http://steampowered.com/download/SteamInstall.msi (if not already installed)
2. Launch the Steam client
3. Create a new account on Steam or go to an existing one
4. Go to the "Games" section and select "Activate on Steam"
5. Enter the activation key you purchased
6. After that, the game will appear in your list of games and you can install it
