The only game I hadn't previously played in the series, Mirror of Fate does a fantastic job in acting as Lords of Shadow 1.5 and explaining far better the transition between games, as well as expanding on backstory and introducing characters pivotal in LoS 2.

A vast difference in game style, but still very fun.
