Why Early Access?

“In the early stages of development (even when our game was still a concept), we've taken player consideration seriously. It is our vision to launch a game that is simple, yet challenging to play. Early Access is the fastest way to achieve just that!”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Iron Tides will become fully available in Winter 2017. However, we reserve the right to delay our launch to 2018 should the community request additional features -- no matter how you look at it, it's not a long to go, and we're excited to work with everybody and push out new patches/updates along the way.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version includes a bundle of new battlefields, more chance encounters, additional enemy factions, and a few new characters. Our vision is to provide a complex rogue-like experience that balances challenge, variety, and consequence.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Iron Tides has over 10 hours of game play; this has been meticulously tested so that you are ready to jump into the boots of a Viking Chieftain. We are working with our community to release new content, and will continue to do so until the final version is complete. Iron Tides has enough content to keep you going, and we're here to listen if you think otherwise.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Get our Early Access discount before Full Launch! We know investing into an incomplete project is far from ideal but rest assured, we will be adding content and working with you to polish your experience. We hope our EA discount invites more players to download our game; please note the price of Iron Tides will increase after we leave Early Access. Make sure to read our frequent updates as we finish development.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to stay in constant two-way contact using monthly updates through Steam and our own Iron Tides website. We encourage the community to participate in polls and surveys, how you respond will benefit the future of our game. :)
